Resolved Question: Bad noise after ball joint replacement? '98 Toyota Sienna. I got the front driver side ball joint replaced on Friday, as well as the front brakes done. Now, it's Sunday, and the van is making a HORRIBLE noise, like a creaky door times 100. It only makes it when I turn left, but it's really loud. Even if I just turn left slightly (like if I wiggle the steering wheel back & forth, it will make the noise when I go to the left & only when I'm going, not if I'm stopped). I though the brakes just needed to "break" in, but the noise has gotten worse. I haven't drove but 20 miles. I do plan on taking it back to the shop, but I want to know what it could be? Should I stop driving it?

Resolved Question: Why does my 2002 Toyota Sienna die on idle? Occasionally, my minivan dies on idle. It always happens when starting a cold engine. If I rev the engine for a few moments or if I drive down the road about 1/4 mile, the problem goes away. It happens about once or twice per week lately. 1. I had the engine codes read, and they were okay. 2. I cleaned out the throttle body today. It was a bit dirty, but not excessively so. So I'm not sure if that will solve the problem. Any other thoughts about what might be causing the problem? Oh, and bonus points if you can also explain to me why cleaning the throttle body matters to engine performance anyway.
