Resolved Question: what car should i buy? Hello, I’ve been looking for a decent way of transportation for a while now... I admit I’m very bad in taking decisions... This would be my first car ever. And needless to say am worried about my way of driving/handling big cars... though at the same time i hate/dont seem to go along with small cars. What I want is simple: 1.A car with clear edges (so to speak) for easy driving as I’m not an expert driver yet so parking, tight turns and what not is a bit tricky to me without actually seeing my angles. 2.ESC support as I’m worried about those rough turns where I’m surely going to be speeding on. 3.Automatic transmission as I’m not that good with anything else yet. 4.Good amount of power as I’m a speed freak (though I admit it’s a bit weird to ask given the previous request so please do bare with me) 5.Hate feminine looking cars! I have no large debt at all. I rent 550 a month, no house or car payment just utilities. I can put $5000 towards the purchase. I really have no clue what to get. I was thinking small SUV like a FJ Cruiser got terrible reviews. Chevy Tahoe used maybe? Resolved Question: 2007 FJ cruiser, tops them all? I read reiew after review and test drove and inquired all vehicles in it's class before opting for the new FJ cruiser. The only negative point in all the reviews, is the blind spots. I found this to be totally over-hyped. The mirrors on the FJ, view back right along side the FJ cruiser, right up to where your sitting! Use the mirrors right and you're fine. The FJ cruiser is a dream machine. It ran circles around all off-road vehicles in it's class. I paid $29,200 for mine, basically fully loaded and honestly feel like a got a deal and then some. Toyota quality is immediately noticed in both the handling, style, engineering etc. The vehicle is high quality and it shows, not to mention it can be taken anywhere. Anyone out there who bought one of these not totally pleased? I would like to know why? Not to mention, this vehicle is by far the most unique, attractive vehicle to hit the roads in over a decade.
