Resolved Question: Why does the 2007 Toyota Camry have so many problems? I was looking on getting a 2007 Toyota Camry LE, I read a bunch load of personal reviews and opinions about the car, and it seems like that particular year has some problems concerning transmission and acceleration. Most people do not recommend the car. Has anyone ever had any experience with these kinds of problems with the 2007 model?
Resolved Question: Need help with choosing a first car? I've posted 2 questions on Yahoo answers on this topic and I haven't got any good straight answers. Please help with my question. I want a car that is Honda, Toyota, Chevy, or another good GM vehicle. It has to be a 4 door sedan. I want a 2000-2005, somewhere in there, for up to $7000. It obviously has to be of good quality, have good gas mileage, reviews, insurance, etc. Please also tell me why it's a good car. If you don't like the brands above, give me another good brand. Thanks! P.S. Some cars I am looking at: 2001 or 2002 Honda Accord 2002 Toyota Camry 2004 Chevy Malibu 2003 Chevy Impala Also thinking 2003 Toyota Corolla...
Resolved Question: Should I be feeling depressed about myself? I'm a 20-year-old guy soon to be turning 21 next month. I have done a lot of things in my life so far, such as being steadily employed since I was 16 with no real gaps between jobs, I've gotten my license and been through several cars. I currently drive two cars, one being a 2006 Ford Mustang and the other being a 1997 Toyota Camry. I was starting out part-time for work, later had 2 part-time jobs at the same time, and currently have one full-time job. I have some money saved up in the bank. However, the one thing that I've failed at (I think) in my life is that I've never had girlfriend, an intimate relationship with anyone, experienced love, had sex, or even had my first kiss yet. As of lately it's been getting me real down because I see it all the time on Facebook about people I know who are hooked up and in relationships always seem to brag and go on about their significant other and how they're so great. Usually through status updates and their relationship statuses. Such things like "So and so is cuddling...
Resolved Question: Does Anyone Know Of A Faster Way To Get My "Driver's License"? I am a Sixteen Year Old Male, & my name Robert (But I prefer to be Called Bobby), and I'm currently taking monthly driving lessons at driving school called "Master Drive". I studied there for about four to five weeks in the summer, and then, they introduced me to an instructor that I am supposed to be working with until I take my License test. I'v been practicing driving with my mom for a few months now (almost since the school year started), and I'm a very smooth driver, I follow all of the rules and everything. Also, I live in Colorado Springs. Anyway, Just a few days ago, I was taking a long walk back from a store called "Noodles", to get home, when my friend Steven happens to pull up in the lane next to the side walk. He asks me if I want a ride home, I agree and get into his "Jeep". He drives me home, and on the way there, he explains that he finally got his driver's license, and then leaves me at my house. I then talked to my mom excitedly about getting a car, and she explained that I would be inheriting...
Resolved Question: Is is safe to flush the transmission of my 2004 Toyota Camry? I have a 2004 Toyota Camry with 117,000 miles. I went in for an oil change today, and one of the men recommended a transmission flush. I googled this and came up with mixed reviews. I've never had this done to my car before; never even heard of it before today. I'm reading that it could be dangerous to flush the tranmission for the first time with such high mileage. On the other hand, I'm also reading that some of the cars that have had slight shifting problems have seen a major improvement with transmission flushing. I have noticed a slight "kick" lately when my car shifts, nothing too bad though. If this solves the problem, I'm all for it. I just want to do what's best for my car and my pocketbook. I CANNOT afford to purchase a new transmission now. And I'm worried that if I do the flush, it will kill my transmission, but if I don't do it, it will kill my transmission. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I don't know anything about cars and neither does my husband, so I need all the advice I can get.
Voting Question: Pushing a car one block? My car died on me this weekend late at night so I just had it towed to the closest place that I had used before. They tell me I need to have my timing belt and water pump replaced. I found another place that can do it for about $150 less than the first place quoted me and this second place also has really good reviews that say they don't push for unnecessary services, which has always been a problem with the first place. The two places are barely one block apart and I really don't want to pay $75 to have it towed to the second place if it won't hurt my car to push it that one block. I won't even have to take it on the street, there's an alley the whole way. I have a 1999 Toyota Camry LE. So is it possible for me to put it in neutral fairly easily? And will it hurt it at all to push it one block?
Resolved Question: 2006 Camry or 2006 Accord? Hello! I am currently looking to buy a car. i am considering the camrys and the accords for a lot of reasons. so i have read a couple of reviews so far on the internet, and found that the 2007 camry is not as good as the earlier camry models(their opinions) so they basically ruled out the 2007 camry because its the start of the new gen of camrys and toyota just didn't shape up this time; an edmunds video review rated the 2007 malibu 1st. 2007 accord close behind, and 07 camry last.(i'm not considering any 2008's and up, im not exactly Andrew Carnegie) then i read that, accord 7 generation runs from '03-'07, meaning that the 2007 shouldn't be a priority on the accord line because they would almost be the same(my reasoning), so i considered the 2006 model for accord and ruled out the 2004 and maybe the 2005 because of not having anti-lock brakes as default. so then i looked at the 2006 camry, and considering its a generation behind the so-called faulty 2007 & up, i considered it aswell. So i have put the 2006...
Resolved Question: Why is it that the bad cars tend to be the big sellers? Think I'm wrong? What if I told you the Toyota Corolla is the best selling car the world has ever seen? Or that the Ford F-Series pickup truck is the best selling vehicle in the world at this moment. Think about it. Volkswagen Beetle, Toyota Corolla, Toyota Camry, Ford F-Series, etc. These are all pretty poor cars, and yet they've been some of the biggest sellers the world has ever seen. Take the Camry for example. It costs more than its competitors while handling worse, being smaller, being heavier, being uglier, slower, and less comfortable. In fact, in a recent comparison test among its competitors, the Camry finished 5th out of 6th. It seems to appeal on no levels at all, yet it's the best selling car in the USA today. Toyota Corolla is much the same story. The original ones through the ones of the 90s were very boring and average, and today the one sold in America finishes dead last among consumer tests (excluding reliability) and car review comparison tests. Yet, it's the third best selling car in the country. So...
Resolved Question: Need opinions, advice, and help on a first car.? Alright, so I've recently gotten my license and have taken the advanced driving course (the stunt driving one) I'm going to say I like speed, I'm good at driving, and also have a fair amount of common sense. Anyways, I have 14 grand to work with. BEFORE you comment, I don't care if you had to work for your car, I'm in school, and busting my balls in a 30 hour job + school doesn't work for me. I have a disposable income and don't want some 98 ford. I know for a fact that I'm not bad enough of a driver that I'm going to wreck it. Plus I'm going to have it for a while and don't want to look like bad in it. That aside, I don't like American cars, you can give me however many statistics you can find, I don't care, I'm just not getting a car made by Americans. So that leaves me too...Audi, Honda, Hyundai, Toyota, BMW, Nissan, and some other imports. I want good handling so I can play around a bit, ( I don't live too far from the desert) and something that can push 100 pretty easy. Yes I know I said 14 grand and I'm probably...

Resolved Question: Which one is better, 2010 Toyota Camry or 2009 Honda Accord? My mom wants to buy either of 2, and I was looking at the users' reviews and they weren't given good scores at all. I always thought that Toyotas and Hondas made good, reliable, long-lasting cars, but the users' reviews started to make me think a little bit... Answers would be appreciated. Thanks!
Voting Question: How good is the Stock Stereo in the 2009/2010 Toyota Camry V6 LE? I just bought a Toyota Camry V6 LE. I was unable to get the JBL Audio system in the Car. The car will be coming with the Stock (160Watt) Stereo system. I know the JBL is supposed to be a great Stereo, but how is the Stock system? I love music, but really don't listen to it extremely loud, but not extremely soft either. I can find more than enough reviews for the JBL, but no one is saying anything about the Stock Stereo. So my question is, Is the Stock 160 Watt Stereo decent? Not Audiophile decent, but "Driving the car with the windows down on the highway decent"? Or "Driving the car with the windows up and can hear some good music decent"? I am not looking for a stereo loud enough to "share" the music with the car next to me.... Thanks!
Resolved Question: Honda Civic or Toyota Camry? I am looking to buy a new car. I have test driven most compact sedans on the market, and I have finally narrowed it down to two. The 2009 Honda Civic EX with 5 speed manual transmission The 2010 Toyota Camry LE with 6 speed manual transmission I know they're both good cars, but I still haven't made up my mind. The EX is a slightly higher model of the Civic, while the LE is the base model Camry, but then again the Camry is technically a higher model Toyota than the Civic is a Honda. The Camry also offers the 6 speed transmission, while the Civic is only a 5. At the same time, I am looking for something that won't need as much maintenance down the road. I'm sure they will both run great for the first couple of years, but I am looking for what would be most cost-efficient in the long run. My family has owned both Toyotas and Hondas over the years, and in my experience, it seems that the Hondas tend to require less maintenance, but then again, that could just be coincidence. I've read most car reviews for these...
Resolved Question: Nice, VERY RELIABLE car for a college student? I need a good car that I can afford. I wanted the Chevrolet Camaro but I always hear that the motor really sucks and is of poor quality. A lot of people recommend the Toyota Camry. What do you think? Also, if there any good website that has reliable reviews for cars? Every single website I go to and every car I search has good reviews for cars and I never see any bad reviews.
