Open Question: Need help with my ac on a 91 Nissan 300zx? Alright, My ac blows from all vents including feet, middle, and defrost. I cannot change it, unless i go to the diagnostic mode by holding off and auto, and then when i go to actuator test mode i can change the fan speed and select the vents i want it on, but in normal use i cannot change the vents of the fan speed, and if i do set the fan speed to low the ac doesn't get cold or vise versa with the heater, HELP PLEASE! Also ive changed the main switch no help.

Open Question: nissan speaker dilemma? I have a 3 day old 2011 Nissan Versa that I LOVE! The only thing is, I chose to get the trim without a stereo. Why? I'll tell you. My old car was a 2002 Toyota Echo and I had a bangin system in there. I had an Alpine MRP M500 amp and a Kenwood KFCW3012 12" Sub. When I bought the Versa, I wanted to put these components in it, which is why I chose the trim without the radio, seeing as you can't have an amp hooked up to a stock stereo. I have an appointment on Thursday to get my new Kenwood headunit installed, as well as my Alpine and Kenwood sub that I took out of my old car. Even though the Versa came without a stereo, they still put in Audio pre-wire and 4 speakers to allow the addition of an aftermarket stereo which is awesome. So, I'm stuck in a really weird position because i have no idea how the Versa stock speakers sound, but they are brand new and have never been used. I was wondering if I am still going to get quality sound with these stock speakers....I plan to have the EQ totally leveled out with the Highs,...

Resolved Question: Factory nissan Versa speakers? I just bought a 2011 nissan versa on saturday, and I opted to get one without a stereo, because in my old car I had a sub and an amp (which I removed), and I plan on putting them in my new car, and I know a factory radio doesnt have pre-amp hookups so I would be ripping the stereo out anyway which is why I didn't want to pay the extra $1000 to get a versa with a stereo. The Versa does have pre-audio wiring and 4 speakers, which is awesome because I can get a stereo installed.I actually have an appointment at Best Buy on thursday to get everything installed. I just want to know if the Versa speakers are any good? The Kenwood stereo I got has a low pass filter setting, which is awesome, cause I can control the cut off frequency. I plan on limiting the amount of bass in my speakers which are brand new and have NEVER been used (no stereo)....I just want to know if the nissan speakers will be okay for about a year, because I do plan on upgrading ( just cant afford to right now). Voting Question: can a new car get low tire pressures? I have a new nissan versa and have had it for about 4 weeks now. Today I noticed the low tire pressure light was on and I was curious to know if even know cars can get low tire pressures. I've also managed to hop off a curb on accident so can that also contribute to low tire pressure. By the way its 64 degrees outside, i heard temperature also had something to do with it.

Voting Question: My 2006 Nissan Maxima died at a stop light today? When i came to a stop today my car died. It is an automatic. What could that possibly mean? I had it in the shop in may and had the shift lock replaced, the transmission flushed, all new spark plugs, oil change. It shifts hard sometimes from 2nd to 3rd vice versa. It will rev up pretty high sometimes and then kick into gear.
Voting Question: Trouble Buying a Car for College: family sedan vs relatively new hatchback? I'll be going to college in the fall of 2011 and I'm having a bit of a hard time deciding on what to purchase. My mom currently owns a 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5S with 61k miles and the current pricing on it (between $9k and $10k) is attractive, and likely to lower another grand by next year. I've driven the car for roughly 1.5 years now and I love the feel, handling, power, etc; my only gripe is that she's a smoker (minor; I believe it won't be so hard to clean out). My only worry is that I don't know what I'll need in college: would this sedan (~16 cu. ft. cargo space) be enough for moving to/from college every so often? Because of that, I'm thinking of getting a hatch (Nissan Versa 1.8S or mid-level Toyota Matrix). Do I need all that space (~50-60 cu ft, seats lowered)? They can be had at a decent price ($8-13k used) with low miles (<60k miles) and have better MPG (Altima, 23/29; hatches, 26/34). I'll have money coming in for college funds, so I'm fine with their prices (I don't want to spend more than $12k ideally)....
Resolved Question: What is better a Hyundai Elantra or a Ford Focus? okay we have a 2009 Nissan Versa Hatchback with 52000 miles on it that we want to trade in for a new Hyundai Elantra or Ford Focus, which would you recommend? we are doing this because we hate the Nissan Versa as it sucks badly in snow season even with 100% high quality tires and also we have had a lot of issues with our rotors going we are on our third set and we hardly brake hard at all or ride the car super fast and now were having major issues with the sensor light on the tire pressure. and it just seems to be going down hill from there with what this car needs. So which would be a better fit from going from a Nissan Versa to the two spoken above. thanks :)

Ok so if you looked at my other two questions i have been asking around a lot about Hyundai and Kia. for Hyundai i got mixed reviews but more so towards the positive. Now for Kia i got the complete opposite. With that in mind i would like to throw in the 2010 or 2011 Nissan Versa for review. Once again im a simple college student that's driving a car that will explode any moment so im trying to find a NEW cheap/small car that i can use for a while. So for the money is the Versa worth it?
