Resolved Question: How long does a Nissan Altima last? I was wondering about how many miles a Nissan Altima will last you? Im really thinking about buying a 2003 Nissan Altima 3.5SE. It has 101,000k miles on it. It looks excellent (from the pictures) and im highly in love.. this is definitly my dream car, but before I drive 2 hours to go and buy it, I want to hear everyones reviews on this car. I know theyve had recalls before. Im very satisfied with this car though. The carfax shows its only had 1 owner and no accidents or anything. So please share your advice with this type of car
Resolved Question: Would you recommend the 2007 Nissan Altima 4 cyl ? My mom needs a new car but we dont need a barnd new one, just newer than her 99 buick. She really likes the nissan altima and we found a couple 2007's and a 2008 that we really like. We prefer to Variable Transmission and the Smart Key technology over the more common automatic transmission and regular key which are two things that really attract us to the altima, also the body style and comfort are great. We can get a great price on one of the 07's because a friend of mine works for the nissan dealer up the street from me and she is a valued employee so her boss is giving us a great deal if we decided to take the car. ive read multiple reviews on the car and a lot of people say that the engine is loud. Lie. it's one of the quietest engines i've ever heard and it's got all the air bags you'll ever need so safety is not an issue with this car. one person reported they had to get their trans replaced twice, but no other person said anything about the trans and my friend who works at the nissan dealer said there really...

Resolved Question: Sub/Amp/Capacitor questions? I drive a 2003 Nissan Altima with a Bose sound system and I am looking for more beat. I came across a package of 2 MTX 12" Subs, MTX Terminator TN250/1 Amp, and an MTX box. Would I need a capacitor for this setup? Also, can anyone give me reviews on these subs/amp? I'm not an audio junkie or anything, I just want something that will sound solid and not blow very easily.
Resolved Question: What is the best material to stop aftermarket muffler noise in the car? I have a 2005 Nissan Altima 3.5 and just put Flow Master mufflers on. I like the performance but hate the interior noise. I was considering purchasing Dyna mat sound deadening material but don't like the reviews. HELP! Country Boy Duh Flow Masters are performance mufflers and yes I listened to them all but You-tube is in NO way in comparison to real life. They are in the same place as the original mufflers and Dynomat is a sound deadening mat. Thanks

Scion TC: $10, 500 FWD 53,000 miles on it Nissan Altima $10,900 FWD 40,000 miles I like both cars, but im still not sure. I think the Altima looks better and i like that it is a 4 door car, but i read some reviews and i heard the CVT transmission is annoying. Also, the Altima is black on grey (like better) and the Scion TC is black on black (still don't mind). The Scion does better on gas and has a sunroof, which i LOVE. Hate the idea of having a two door car though. Also i wondering if they will have any trouble in the future with the sticking gas pedals that Toyota had. Also i live in the north east where there is a lot of snow in the winter so i was wondering if i would be able to put snow tires on both of these car, and which one would be better in the snow. Any suggestions, Thanks ! I have already researched everything but these are the things that i could not find. ):

Voting Question: 2002 Nissan Altima a bad car ? I've seen quite a few 2.5l 2002 nissans altima out there for about 10k for a low mileage great maintained one. I was really going to go for it as a goal, but have been recently reading loads of bad reviews about it before it even hits the 100k mile mark. What do you think ? Does proper maintenance even matter at this point, or are these 02 altimas truly a bad car ?

I read some consumer reviews and they were really mixed, so I was wondering if it was a good car? It seems to be well maintained, and is being sold by a person who buys and repairs Nissan's that have been in accidents, it was rear ended but there was no frame damage, so it does have a salvage title. Resolved Question: 2010 Accord Coupe vs 2010 ALtima Coupe? Hi. I am currently in this dilemma b/t the 2010 Accord coupe LX-S 4 cyl and the 2010 Altima Coupe 2.5 S CVT 4 cyl. I think both of these two vehicles cost approximately 22k - 23k out the door (of course not now, probably late Nov or Dec). I first leaned more to Accord since everyone has been talking about Honda's reliability and resale value, also Accord is well-known for delivering a comfortable, smooth ride. However, after I have done my lots of research, it appears to be true that the 08, 09 and even 10 Accord models have severe premature brake squeaking issue. Honda Cooperate knows about the problem, but they claim that there is no fix and customers are responsible for paying for the repair, meaning that we have to pay about $300 every 10k miles (based on carcomplaints.com) to change the brake. After I found out this, I started leaning more to Altima. I have looked through a lot of reviews, and it seems like the cons of Altima is that it is not as comfortable as Accord, low resale value, kid-size back seat...

Alright, so I've recently gotten my license and have taken the advanced driving course (the stunt driving one) I'm going to say I like speed, I'm good at driving, and also have a fair amount of common sense. Anyways, I have 14 grand to work with. BEFORE you comment, I don't care if you had to work for your car, I'm in school, and busting my balls in a 30 hour job + school doesn't work for me. Resolved Question: Looking to buy a used SUV 2006-2008 just wanting opinions on them I need 3rd row. Have 2 kids 11 & 9 & travel? I need help on reliability, gas, stylish, how it drives, anything that can help!! I've had a 2002 Explorer w/ 3rd row really liked it had 160k on it and transmission went out had to replace and the resale value was horrible. i now have a 2005 Altima had it for several years now went back to a car because my ex-husband had a Chevy HD2500 4-dr and so I went back to a car for gas mileage but now we are divorced and I need something with more ROOM!! My car doesn't have enough room for growing boys plus spend the night company. I like my Nissan it doesn't have the smoothest ride it shakes and i have had it checked several times they say eveything is fine but i have read reviews on 2006 Pathfinders on shaking so if anyone can help on answering that. Because I don't want the same problem again. I love the body style of the 2007 Tahoe's but I'm needing to stay at a price range of about $17,000 or less if possible.
