Resolved Question: I backed up into my mama's car, what should I do? Okay well I needed to go to my sons school so I got into my car.... My mom parked behind me but off to the right (passenger side) in my blind spot. I got in the car (I have a Mazda Cx9) and proceeded in reverse. She has a small car and I wouldn't be able to see it unless I walked all the way around my car. Anyway there was small damage I have full coverage and her car will get taken care of. Even if it was her fault I'd still pay for it cause I love my mama but my car has a sensor and is suppose to tell me if someone or something is in my blind spot, next t me, or behind me. Well it didn't.Do you think my insurance should cover my damage? I just want to know what you think on the situation besides thinking I'm a bad driver, I haven't had any car accidents before. Thanks ;) Eddy your an idiot. I said it was my fault and I said clearly that even if it wasn't I'd still take care of it. All I was asking was about the sensor she was in my blind spot my sensor is supose to sense it there. It always has except this time....

BTW- The lexus is IS350 They are from the same year, they have the same mileage, both in excellent conditions, and the same price range.... Which would you choose and why? Resolved Question: What Car should we buy? We are trying to decide what car to buy. We have an infant plus 2 dogs (one large dog and one small) and make 3-4 trips a year that are 6 hours long (one way). So we want something that is roomy & has good storage, but gets good gas mileage. We are considering: Mazda CX9 Nissan Pathfinder Honda Odyssey We really like the GMC Acadia, but do not want to buy a GMC. Also we have looked at the Toyota Highlander & Hyundai Santa Fe, but both find them to be stupid designs considering the no/very limited access to the 3rd row. My husband likes the Odyssey (feels its the better buy) but I don't think we need quite that much room for just day to day use. Thoughts/Suggestions? Oh we are also looking at the Hyundai Veracruz & Volvo XC90. I think the new Pilot is ulgy, so that's why I'm not considering it.

Resolved Question: Do the auto dealers need a sale? I have been shopping for a month for a car, every dealership I go to is business as usual, I don't get it, I want to find a good deal but you have to pull teeth to get a deal, even on financing. I want either a 2008 Mazda CX9 Grand Touring or a 2007 or 2008 Mercedes R Class. I almost think they are so desperate to make a big profit they will not work with you. Any Thoughts? I live in St. Louis, Missouri. I understand that dealerships need to make a profit but, the buying experience is no different, you have to go through the "Let me check with my boss" routine, and it takes hours to buy the car. I just wish they would put their best foot forward and mark the car so we can just purchase it without the games. As far as the gentlemen who mentioned GM loosing money on cars has not worked, FYI Mr. Smarty, they are loosing because of design, innovation, bad management, overpaid workers, too many dealerships, bad deals with suppliers and a host of other things.
