Resolved Question: ESC off for better MPG? I have 09 Kia Rondo EX 4cyl and wondering that car might give better MPG without ESC system. When I lift my food off the pedal, car gives me the impression of "slowing down." I am not so sure what that is but WITHOUT the ESC, that does not happen at all. So in theory is should gain MPG in the way. Any thoughts? foot...yes yes typo. I know it should slow down, I meant that car change the gear itself to slow down sort of feeling. any experiment for more MPG without ESC system?

My husband and i are looking into buying a new vehicle and we are on a budget (military family). we are trading in our 01 mitsubishi galant bc it would cost more to fix than to trade in. we have a baby boy and need the room too. thinking about 09 kia rondo used w/ 22,000 miles on in. asking 15k for it. is this a good deal? my husband and i are both 22 yrs old this will be our first buy. i am aware that kia has a bad rep, but i also know it's not the car of 10 years ago so please no bias answers, however, if you do feel the need to say "kia sucks" please back it up with your own experiences. im really not trying to argue with anyone about kia's...just want to know if this is a good value. also, ronda owners, how do you like them? thanks so much. we already got a loan for $15,100, if we don't get the rondo, any suggestions on what we should look at?

Resolved Question: Why is stock audio so bad? I have a 1994 chrysler concorde and wow it's sound system is awesome but i was in a crash and the car is getting repaired so they gave me a 2008 kia rondo and wow that thing sucks and it's audio is even worse! I mean it has practicly no bass or treble or mid and i put all that to the max and still no difference. But i took it back and got a 2009 Mazda 3 and it has a great audio system. Also i have noticed a lot of newer cars have bad audio to name some 2009 chevrolet colorado and anything kia and a 2008 charger is not up standards that its father the intrepid set. I love the mazda! also my 2000 dakota has a killer pioneer system but i bet it's stock system could kill a lot of cars today

Voting Question: Would you rather trade in car for $6000 or junk it for $100? I have a 1990 Ford Taurus with a blown engine that has been sitting for 5 years. A local Kia dealer is offering $6000 trade in for it if I buy a new '09 Kia except Rio and Rondo. Says not combinable with other discount. The thing is in the ad cars like Spectra, Sportage and Optima are discounted $7500 after discounts and rebates. So how is $6000 better??? So should I just junk it for $100?
