Resolved Question: Hyundai Accent or Kia Rio? I know they're practically the same car, but which one would you recommend? Hyundai is climbing the ladder in terms of reliability but reviews for the Accent are kind of so-so. Kia is slightly cheaper and isn't known for reliable vehicles but the Rio seems to be their most praised car. Hmmm.
Resolved Question: The Toyota Yaris or the Kia Rio? Yesterday I asked about the Yaris and the Aveo, but I think I have pretty much ruled out the Aveo after looking at them all in person yesterday. I am very interested now in the Kia Rio and still debating over the Yaris. I'm looking for a new car because I'm about to have a baby. Currently I drive a 03 Chevy Cavalier and have had a lot of problems with it. It is falling apart and I don't feel safe driving a baby around in it. I know Toyotas to be very high quality cars, as my family has driven them for years. They have great resale value and last forever. They are also cheap even after you buy them, requiring little maintenance and having great gas mileage. The Yaris, in particular is cool because it gets almost the same mileage as a hybrid and it has a jack for my mp3 player. However, professional reviews of the Yaris hover around the 7 out of 10 level, the biggest complaints being the center console and a loud cabin.
