Open Question: I have some questions about krypton headlights for my car...? I know a lot of cars have the HID headlamps that are white/blueish, but I have seen some cars whose headlights are blue, like pure blue. Someone told me that those are krypton headlights, not HID. I've tried to find them on the internet, and amazon.com sells them, but there is no information about them other than "they're great buy now". Can anyone tell me where I can buy them, and anything I need to know about them (like they don't last that long, they might not fit my car [kia optima], ect)?
Open Question: How to fix a 2004 Kia Optima LX 2.4L partially flooded? Due to the heavy rain from 2 days ago, in South Florida area, my car was parked on the lawn in front of my house. The water level reached almost 1 foot high and was high enough to create problems to my car. Yesterday evening I tryed to stary the car...but without success. The battery was dead. I changed the battery, the car was cranking, but didn't start. I checked the air filter ( it had some gasoline on the bottom!!! ). Then i checked the spark plugs (: cylinder 2and4 were filled with gasoline ). When the new battery is connected, I can hear a noise, like a "fluid flow through a pipe". I checked all the fuses with a multimeter ( all of them are good, EXCEPT the 10A Ignition that shows an error ) Conclusions: the starter is working; there is a short-circuit somewhere, that make the gas pump work even when there is no key in the ignition; Any clues? how can i fix it? I have found a little black box under the passenger seat. I took it out and it was pretty dry. I put it back and the problem was persisting.
Voting Question: What would cause the ware of brakes and rotors and now my axels need to be chaged? I have changed my brakes and rotors 3x this year. Now they are telling me will need to change my axels. The squeeking noise continues weather i change them or not. Mostly in the morning when i breake. It kind of sound like squeeking shocks. The sounds mostly on the front passenger side. I have 2004 Kia Optima with 100,000 miles. I know it's alow of miles, they are distant miles.

Resolved Question: Car runs, but nothing electrical works pt. 2? I posted a bit earlier about this...but I am adding a bit of additional information. Driving home, the battery light came on and then the radio, heater, power windows, wipers, etc. stopped working, but the car still ran. Not well, it got really slow a few blocks from home. It was difficult getting home because no defrost, wipers, or power steering and we are due for a blizzard, but that's beside the point. I won't be able to do anything about it until Thursday due to the storm. So I am just trying to get an idea of what the problem is. The electrical things work now when I turn the car on, but only for a few seconds and everything goes dead again. It is a 2001 Kia Optima. It's been a joy since I bought it. That's sarcasm. :)

Resolved Question: 2004 Kia Optima Knocking.? I have knocking under the hood of my car. It starts knocking when i start it up. The more i gas it the more knocking i get. The knocking also gets worse when the cars shifts while driving it. I checked all the oils in my car and everything is normal. I dont really know what else to say how to describe it but i need help.
