Open Question: I need to buy a cheap notebook/laptop and send it to India? Hey! well my mom in gonna be visiting India soon and my cousin asked for a notebook. basically, cheapest thing that will run internet and very basic things like maybe a messenger. Memory is not a big issue but i still want to send something that will be decent in performance but I still don't want to send too much. PLUS i also need it to run in india because i don't really understand it but i think india and usa have different volts system or something. I do know that the outlets are rather round, I'll add a picture. So my question is I don't seem to find anything that is under 230$ , anyone knows a decent brand that is cheaper. Also, will i need to but a different charger to make it run in india? Will it work there, they do have wifi on their campus. soooo any help? Resolved Question: Where does a hosting company get it's Bandwidth? So, I know hosting companies have servers, etc. But where do they "Plug it in"? Is it just like a cable internet high-speed thing or what? Like Google, for example, they have a big huge campus with many servers...but how do they get them Online?

(They don't have them only on the google campus but still) They're the ones with the like upright handlebars, that aren't bent forward like on the more intense bikes. Resolved Question: Does it cost money to be in a sorority? I am really interested in joining a sorority and I have been asking questions to Google and looking into some general things about it for the past couple of months. But yeah, if you want to join a main stream sorority of your campus are there "dues" you have to pay to it? And usually how much can the fees be to be a member?
Resolved Question: What happened to the Collins scholarship at Ohio State University? Last year, I had a $3000 scholarship called the Collins Scholarship. This year, I do not have it. I am it great academic standing, so I know that's not it. My finances are still the same as last years. Last year, I searched this scholarship on OSU's website, but it isn't on there anymore. I also can't find any information on it through google. My advisor insists that this was not an OSU scholarship. Does anyone know anything about this? I am looking for an online associate's degree program for Health Information Technology that is accredited by AHIMA, there are not any physical campuses that offer it where I live, and am looking for a legit school online that I would be eligible to take the RHIT exam. Resolved Question: Traveling to Honolulu for the first time ever this Friday...? ...and I have absolutely NO clue what to do, on several accounts! I'm heading to Honolulu for a conference, and I'll be staying in a dorm at the University of Hawaii in Manoa. I've done a Google maps search and found plenty of great-looking restaurants within a mile (AKA walking distance) of the campus, so I'm not too perplexed about that. :) However, I will not be driving, and taxis are Hella expensive, so I plan on walking during most of my free time. Can anybody help me out with the following questions? 1. Is it possible to get from University Avenue to, say, South King Street without crossing the freeway? Is there a walking path? 2. Is it common for people to just walk to the beach? The beach is apparently only a mile and a half away, so most likely I'll just walk there from the uni. However, I'm worried about encountering private beaches and having done all of that walking for nothing! 3. Are there a lot of places that will let me rent a small beach umbrella for the day? Resolved Question: Counting calories to GAIN weight? Ok, so I recently discovered that part of getting bigger and adding more definition to my body will require me to increase and count the amount of calories that I take in daily. Currently, in order for my body type (5'11, 131 lbs) to remain the same I have to consume 1,235 calories a day. In order to improve, i need to tack on 500 more calories a day. I found a site that helps me track my calorie intake, but some of the foods i eat, i get from my campus's cafeteria, restaurants, etc. and they don't have labels. Does anyone know how I can calculate these numbers? I've tried looking on Google but haven't had much luck. For example, so far today I've had a grilled chicken sandwich with Lettuce and Cheese, and a side of french fries. However, none of this has a label... Can some please help me, I would be forever grateful!!!
Resolved Question: How do I report a problematic faculty member to his boss? I am a third-year student in the Performing Arts Communication concentration. Over the past 2 years, the head of my concentration has not been on good terms with the students, neither has he been performing well in delivering the program. Because of that, two months ago, our Dean came in to address the problem as a response to a lengthy report from students that finally came in (I was not involved in the reporting). Our Dean told us that this head of concentration will be going under probation, and should there be problems then they must be reported IMMEDIATELY, lest the student body continues to be affected by his problematic behaviour. On personal terms, this head of concentration is actually a rather nice and friendly fellow. However, he's verging on unprofessional as he's very disorganised, moody, and disrespectful. With all due respect, he also happens to be gay and inappropriately friendly with the male students, but rude to the female students. But then this guy is my teacher, not my friend, and so I judge...

Resolved Question: Trying to remember a film name about a new college student who ends up falling for murderous pranks? I cant remember any actors or character names. And i also get it mixed up with Urban Legend, where some woman is running around in a hooded coat actually killing people, but its not that. But i believe a new student joins a college and then befriends a group of people which i believe is led by some lass and they pretend to kill some people on campus (i think maybe its in the style of some murders that happened before at the college, but could be wrong) I think this scene was in the movie, or could be getting mixed up with urban legend again, but i believe a couple drove out into the woods, they parked up, one went for a pee and the other stayed in the car. When the person returned to the car, someone was hanging from a tree and stood on top of the car, then the car moved and they were hung.
